How adorable is this Chanel bag? It’s very rare that I like a classic quilted Chanel bag beyond the timeless 2.55–so you can imagine my delight when I spied this jewel in the Chanel preview. It reminds me of that trend back in the late Nineties when women, particularly in Washington D.C. for some reason, would buy a smaller 2.55 and piggy back it on top of a larger quilted tote (I distinctly remember seeing this in an old issue of Harper’s Bazaar). Anyhow, this bag is like the best of both worlds! The double flap top on either side guarantees this bag is roomy while the center top handle AND reinforced chain shoulder strap ensure options, options, options! I love it in this red!
