A very impressive leather piece from Rick Owens is the “Scuba jacket.” He’s done this jacket a couple seasons now but this time he has actually blistered the leather on the jacket. This season he uses a somewhat blue colored lambskin. The vintage motorcycle inspired zipper placement and long collar make for a great spring jacket. Another solid piece from Rick Owens.

Here’s one for the O.J.L (orange jacket lovers). Nike have been making a steadier appearance here on SL and, contrary to popular belief, it’s not because we’re suffering a streetwear relapse. The “Four Zip Pullover Fleece” is water resistant jacket that comes with a billed hood, zipper pulls and 4 pockets; hence the name of the jacket. At 85% polyester and 15% cotton, this jacket will surely endure the climates. A major plus is that the jacket is “Made in the USA.” The jacket is availble at Bastille (Selectism, 2010).

Whillas & Gunn do a good line of manly man coats and this ‘Graham’ jacket is another example of their stellar work. It’s the sort of coat that other sites would call ‘rugged’ or ‘rustic’ or whatever other similar super masculine word pops into their heads.
